Policies and Procedures
I. Introduction
As part of our mission to be the Employer of Choice, NAPA maintains a program to reward individuals for referring their personal acquaintances for employment with NAPA when such referrals result in the hiring of referred candidates. The program, NAPA Networking Rewards program (“Networking Program”), applies exclusively to NAPA employees. The terms and conditions for participating in this program is set forth herein. Questions regarding these programs should be directed to the Talent Acquisition Team at napareferralforms@napaanesthesia.com.
II. Procedure
- To participate in the Networking Program, the referrer must complete and submit the NAPA Networking Rewards Submission Form for the referral prior to the referred candidate’s interview. Each referral must be a unique candidate, as determined by NAPA and vetted by the NAPA Talent Acquisition Department, to be considered for a reward.
- Under the Rewards Promotions, the referrer must be personally acquainted with each referred applicant and have spoken to each referred candidate about NAPA.
- To be eligible for employment, the referred candidate must meet NAPA’s standard hiring requirements.
- Referrers under the Networking Program are eligible for a monetary reward for each anesthesiologist, certified registered nurse anesthetist, certified anesthesiologist assistant, and/or corporate staff member employed as a result of a referral subject to the terms and exceptions set forth in the Networking Program, as amended from time to time. Referrers are only eligible for payment under the Networking Program per referred candidate hired.
- The Networking Program only applies to current NAPA employees and resets every calendar year.
- Under the current Networking Program, each full-time clinical candidate successfully hired by NAPA will result in the referrer receiving a $10,000 reward after the referral’s start date. Each part-time clinical candidate successfully hired by NAPA will result in the referrer receiving a $2,000 reward after the referral’s start date. Each per diem or 1099 clinical candidate successfully hired by NAPA will result in the referrer receiving a $750 reward after the referral’s start date. For corporate careers, full-time candidates that are successfully hired by NAPA will result in the referrer receiving up to a $500 reward. Any and all rewards are subject to the terms and exceptions set forth in the Networking Program Rewards Promotions Policy.
- Under the Networking Program: In order for the referrer to receive the rewards, a referred candidate must: (1) begin providing services to NAPA on a full-time, active basis by the end of 2024; (2) complete 45 calendar days of employment; and (3) be in good standing. In addition, the referrer employee must be employed by NAPA at the time the reward is distributed. The referral is only valid for 12 months from the date of submission.
- Networking Program reward payments are not earned until the date of payment and will be paid through payroll. All rewards are subject to applicable taxes.
- All NAPA employees, excluding clinical leadership or NMSC Vice Presidents and above, are eligible to participate in the NAPA Networking Program for clinician and corporate candidate referrals. The NAPA employee must not be involved in the hiring decision or hold a leadership position in the department or function where the referred candidate will be employed. For purposes of the NAPA Networking Program, “clinical leadership” means all Chief- and Chief CRNA-level employees and above, including, but not limited to, Executive Leadership Team members, Zone Leaders, and Regional Vice Presidents.
- In the case of more than one individual referring the same candidate hired, only one referral reward will be paid. The referral reward under the Networking Program will go to the individual whose NAPA Networking Submission Form was received first by the NAPA Talent Acquisition Department.
- NAPA reserves the right to change, modify, or end the NAPA Networking Rewards program at any time, with or without cause.
